We were reminded yesterday that Christianity has a long history in Africa.  While still an infant, Jesus with his parents fled to Africa to escape King Herod.  In Acts, we can read how Philip opened the Scriptures to and baptized an Ethiopian eunuch from the court of Queen Candace. The very term of Trinity, used to describe the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost as One was coined in Africa.  The message of forgiveness of sins and salvation through Christ's death and resurrection is not new to Africa, but is spreading once again.
