Last Sunday, it was a great pleasure to spend time with our new friends at Shepherd of the Hills in Denver Colorado. Our sons were enthralled by Pastor Zillinger's message about putting the armor of God, and reminding us that it is Christ's righteousness that we wear as a breastplate, and the shield of Faith is God's Faith, not our own, a gift from God. Our son Thad, who enjoys making his own armor from cardboard and paper, enjoyed seeing Pastor Zillinger don his paintball gear.

Thad all dressed in his Roman Soldier gear.

Pastor Stiltonow gave us a very warm welcome, and allowed us to present during bible study.  And thank you to Maynard Buck and the missions team for arranging our visit.  Shepherd of the Hills is extremely active in mission work, sharing God's word locally and abroad.  It was a special moment (and a bit intimidating) to be among those so familiar and expectant of mission work.  It was truly a blessing to spend the morning with SOTH- we will miss them and look forward to a chance to visit again.
